Updating blackberry bold firmware
The Black Berry Bold 9900 is the first Black Berry to run on a processor faster than 1 GHz, use a near-field communications antenna, enable mobile hotspot, and raised the bar for Black Berry display resolution.
Most importantly of all, the Bold 9900 was the flagship for the Black Berry 7 operating system launch, which proliferated through new devices through the rest of the year.
"Because I can use it way better while driving" Ok, Ok. Whenever the weather gets warm, I always get the itch to rock a white phone, and looking through my collection of phones yesterday the white Black Berry Bold 9900 caught my eye. When we break things down, for the most part all the devices are sporting the same OS (or at least they can be, depending on your carrier) so you don't really have to base your choice off software, which is nice. Bell has released a small OS update for Curve 9360, Bold 9790 & 9900 users that looks to fix some nagging issues.
Now before you go ripping Vinny apart in the comments, let me tell the full story here. The update for the 93 is to OS 18.104.22.16841 while the 9900 version is 22.214.171.12440.
The 9900 was preceded by the Bold 97 series, and was followed up by the Black Berry Q10.
Otherwise, in order to maintain the smooth running of your Balckberry device, the software features an automatic updating system which informs you every time there is some available new version of your Smartphone applications.
Announce Date: May 02, 2011 Release Date: Aug 09, 2011 Screen Resolution: 640x480 As I'm sure most of you already know, last weekend Kevin, James and I headed to Montreal to check out the Canadian Grand Prix — and we had an amazing time.
I drove up from New Jersey with a friend of mine, but it wasn't until the day before that it dawned on me that I wouldn't have any phone service once hitting the Canadian border.
